ID Badges
Identification badges that include the employee’s name, title and clinic/tenant name and/or logo must be worn while employees are on duty. The ID badges allow access to the building and various areas within the building based on the employee’s job requirements. If a badge is lost or stolen, there is a risk that security for the building could be breached, so it is imperative that employees keep badges in their possession.
As a service, Ridgeview’s Physical Access Control Team (PACT) will provide ID badges for the tenants of Ridgeview properties. All initial badges are provided at no cost upon move-in. For subsequent badges, there is a nominal fee per badge. For photo ID badges, tenants may submit their own digital photos, or they can schedule an appointment with Ridgeview PACT staff to take a photo at no additional cost.
Contact PACT via email at tenantbadgerequest@ridgeviewmedical.org to request ID badges and photo appointments. PACT will provide the required forms and share additional badge and access details.
Tenants are responsible to report lost or stolen badges, and termed employee badges to the Physical Access Control Team via email at tenantbadgerequest@ridgeviewmedical.org or 952-442-2191, ext. 36347.
Key Requests
Keys for spaces within the building will be issued upon move-in and on an as-needed basis. There will be no charge for initial keys; however there will be a charge of $10/key plus labor for processing of keys for all future requests.
To request keys, please send an email to allmaintenancerequests@ridgeviewmedical.org and include the following information: employee’s name, location and access needs. Tenants are responsible to provide information about future new hires and terminations, as well as lost or broken keys for all employees or authorized agents. Nominal fees apply for key set-up, reproduction or replacement. As employees leave your organization, please collect any keys they were given, and return them to Ridgeview’s Facilities Management department via intra-office mail.
Vendor Check-In/Out
To improve the security of our buildings, vendor representatives are encouraged to check in at the building’s main reception desk or appropriate tenant suite. We advise that during the check-in process, the representative be asked to sign in on a tenant-provided check-in sheet with their name, company name, check-in time, cell phone number and purpose of visit, and show the desk attendant company identification. An ID badge, indicating the name of the person, company and purpose of visit or destination will be issued to the representative. The badge should be visible while in the facility or on the grounds.
It is strongly encouraged that contractors be issued a work order, from the tenant, authorizing them to perform work in your suite. The work order will include detailed instructions, contact name and location of their work. It is recommended that suppliers contact the appropriate tenant representative ahead of time to let them know who will be visiting and the purpose of the visit.
**When scheduling work that requires access to access common areas, utilities and grounds, tenants must communicate planned maintenance activities with Ridgeview at least 72 hours in advance, to review the scope of work and coordinate access. Please dial 952-777-4458 to be connected with the appropriate staff for review.
Upon completion of their work or visit, suppliers and/or contractors are also asked to check out at their check-in location. At this time, any approved ID badges should be returned and sign-out completed by indicating the exit time on the sign-in sheet.
