Breast Cancer Screening
Breast cancer screening is offered at various clinics and at Ridgeview Medical Center each year. Through the Breast Cancer Detection Awareness Project, low-cost mammograms are provided October through December.
- Sage Screening Program: The Sage Screening Program is a cooperative effort between health professionals, the Minnesota Department of Health, and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to encourage screening for breast and cervical cancer. Women who meet the income and age eligibility requirements of this program can receive free breast and cervical cancer screening, referral for follow-up and/or treatment for those who have an abnormal screening test, and help with finding financial resources for follow-up and treatment for those who have no insurance or not enough insurance to cover the cost.
