We're growing mental health services to better care for our community

Mental health concerns can impact anyone. In fact, according to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), one in five U.S. adults experience mental illness each year, and less than half of them receive treatment.
In recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month, we would like to take the opportunity to bring attention to the mental health needs in our community.
The demand for mental health services is strong
In 2022, Ridgeview treated nearly 6,500 patients with mental health encounters. That’s approximately 17 patients on a given day who visited one of Ridgeview’s clinics, Emergency Departments or hospital campuses seeking care for various mental health concerns.
While our patients’ mental health needs vary, one thing remains the same — they all deserve exceptional and advanced health care services, right here in their community.
We’re thinking BIG when it comes to mental health care at Ridgeview
We believe in a health care environment that offers specialized crisis management and telepsychiatry consultation that allows our health care professionals to remotely monitor patients and make psychiatric services more accessible in rural communities. We desire to enhance inpatient consultation to provide diagnostic assessments, evaluation, management of conditions and care coordination. We believe in a hospital-based clinic that provides exceptional outpatient care for medication management, individual and group therapy, injectable medication administration, day treatment and substance use treatment programs.
Mental health is gripping communities, like ours, throughout the country. We have the opportunity to be a leader in mental health care and ensure our patients don’t have to travel far to access comprehensive mental health and addiction care.
As a community health provider, it’s our mission to make sure we are delivering the care that our community deserves. That’s why we’re partnering with experts from the area to build a multi-faceted program at Ridgeview.
You can help us reach our goal by contributing to our Cause for the Community campaign
This is a multi-year initiative to enhance several areas within our health care system to provide faster, smarter and safer care to transform the patient, caregiver and provider experience in an effort to prepare our community for growth.
