Ridgeview Health Care Scholarship

Each year, Ridgeview offers $2,000 scholarships to area college-bound high school seniors interested in pursuing a career in the health care field. Scholarships are awarded to 15 students with a home address in Ridgeview’s service area*. Additionally, there is one scholarship awarded to a child of a Ridgeview employee, and two scholarships for students with a diverse background.

The application will be available from Jan. 1 to March 15, 2026. Online application closes at 11:45 p.m. on March 15, 2026.

Scholarship Criteria

Recipients are selected by members of the Scholarship Committee according to the following criteria:

  • Pursuing one of the predefined health care career choices (see below)
  • Home address in Ridgeview’s service area (see below)
  • Have a high school GPA of 2.5 or higher
  • Involved with school or community volunteer activities
  • Planning on enrolling in a post-secondary school, public or private, in the fall of 2026

Please note that the following students are not eligible for the “child of a Ridgeview employee” scholarship:

  • Children of a Ridgeview director-level employee or above
  • Children of a Ridgeview-affiliated physician or Advanced Practice Professionals (APP)
