4th Annual Arlington Open Golf Celebration raises more than $21,000
Proceeds support the purchase of two technologically advanced stretchers for the Ridgeview Arlington Campus Emergency Department
Waconia, Minn.— (July 23, 2024) – Community members gathered at the Glencoe Country Club for Ridgeview Foundation’s 4th Annual Arlington Open Golf Celebration on Friday, July 19. The event raised more than $21,000 to purchase two technologically advanced stretchers for the Ridgeview Arlington Campus Emergency Department, which are specifically designed to reduce physical strain on clinicians, enhance comfort during patient transport and drive hospital efficiencies.
The event included a golf tournament with teams competing for top prizes, a variety of contests on the course, including hole-in-one contest to win a new car, and lunch.
"Critical access hospitals, such as our hospital in Arlington, are the lifeblood of small communities, providing essential health care services that keep families healthy and connected. Their presence ensures that even in more rural areas, residents have access to the quality care they need and deserve,” said Kelly Mulleady, Executive Director of Ridgeview Foundation. “We appreciate the unwavering support and generosity of this community, event attendees and volunteers, and our corporate partners who continue to make this event a success.”
Over recent years, the Arlington Open has served as a major fundraiser for the Ridgeview Arlington Campus, helping fund projects that advance health care in the community including the re-opening of the Arlington Campus Hospital Cafeteria, enhancements to the Telehealth Program, and purchase of a point-of-care ultrasound machine.
The event is a success, thanks to corporate partners including Electrical Production Services, Nicolet National Bank, Northland, Ridgeview Medical Staff, Arlington State Bank, SLS Tax Accounting Financial Planning, Vos Construction, Brick House Meats, Dahlheimer Beverage, Schmidt Roofing, Thomes Bros, After Burner Auto Body & Towing, Inc., CMDI, Perennial Bank, R&R Auto Repair, Big Gain AG Specialists, Arlington Haus, B&R Plumbing & Heating, EJ’s Bar & Grill, Oakwood Capital Securities, Y-Not Plumbing and Mike Goetsch.
