Security Bank & Trust Co. celebrates 30-year tradition of giving to Ridgeview

This year marks the 30th anniversary of Security Bank & Trust Co. partnering with Ridgeview Foundation. Pursuing its mission of supporting organizations that directly impact the care and well-being of local citizens, Security Bank & Trust Co. makes it a priority each year to help fund the medical center. “We are pleased to support Ridgeview Foundation and are proud to make this investment in the future of health care in the community,” said Keith Peters, branch president, Security Bank & Trust Co. Established in Glencoe in 1935, Security Bank & Trust Co. provides banking, investment and retirement services to individuals and business owners. It has since grown to include 13 locations throughout McLeod, Carver and Sibley counties.

A core value for the family-operated Security Bank & Trust Co. is to build strong communities and to make a positive difference for those in need. The bank has become an integral partner with Ridgeview. Security Bank & Trust Co. has contributed donations to multiple campaigns throughout the years, including the communications center, Minneapolis Heart Institute® at Ridgeview Heart Center, and the Norman and Ann Hoffman Emergency Center. “It’s very gratifying knowing the money donated to Ridgeview has helped so many of our fellow community members, employees and customers. It’s great supporting something that will make an impact on the lives of so many future generations,” Peters said. Donating to Ridgeview Foundation supports advancements and upgrades that deliver excellent health care to our community. Like Security Bank & Trust Co., your company or organization can make a meaningful, long-lasting impact.

As organizations succeed, contributing to the community is the natural outpouring of their success.

Over 31 years ago, Jim and Carla Struble founded Electrical Production Services, better known as EPS, Inc., a power and technology infrastructure solutions company, in Chanhassen. They began small as just the two of them and slowly added electricians and staff as they were able. Their business has grown to include 58 employees, whom they proudly refer to as their EPS family, and have completed over 2000 large-scale projects. EPS has proudly supported Ridgeview for more than eight years. “Ridgeview is our community hospital, and we want to ensure its superior care continues for years to come. Ridgeview is expanding and enhancing its services, and we hope in some small way our contributions are helping Ridgeview get there,” Carla explained. The Strubles have a longstanding history of helping other worthy community causes as well. “It is our hope through the giving of our time and resources we can create a positive impact,” Carla said. “We feel compelled by our faith to be active members of our community. It’s who we are and how we lead.”

Contributing to various causes is often overwhelming at times as there are so many needs, but Jim and Carla are devoted to helping when they are able. “It is very gratifying to be a part of something that makes a significant difference in the lives of so many– especially our family, employees, customers and neighbors,” Carla said. “A significant portion of our employees and customers reside in Carver County and are served by Ridgeview’s system, so we get to see the impact of our investment in our community first-hand, which is a joy. Beyond their financial contributions, Carla also serves as secretary on the Ridgeview Foundation’s board of directors. Whether you’re a small-business owner or a large organization, anything you contribute makes a difference. Support Ridgeview today and make an investment in the community!
