Obstetrics & Gynecology and Physician Assistant
With more than 10 years of experience practicing as a physician assistant, Sarah Bot, PA-C, is pleased to be part of Western OB/GYN, A Division of Ridgeview Clinics. She provides infertility care and enjoys partnering with patients to help them understand the scope of treatment options available to them. She recognizes the huge emotional, and often financial, investment required of those seeking fertility care and strives to make the process as comfortable as possible for her patients. Western OB/GYN has a unique partnership with the Center for Reproductive Medicine, which allows Bot and her colleagues to offer comprehensive fertility care to patients.
With a background in obstetrics, gynecology and primary care, she sees female patients for the entire scope of women's health, including high blood   pressure, prediabetes and early Type 2 diabetes, high cholesterol, weight management and dietary counseling, asthma, depression and anxiety, acute  illnesses, as well as all office-related OB/GYN issues, such as annual preventive exams, birth control counseling, IUD insertion, pre- and post-operative exams and infertility. Bot also performs adolescent well checks and sports physicals.
A certified physician assistant, Bot is a graduate of the University of Iowa College of Medicine. She has an undergraduate degree from the College of Saint Benedict, in St. Joseph, Minn.
"I love obstetrics, preventive health and counseling on health   education topics and I enjoy the time I get to spend with my patients," said Bot. Bot is married and has three young children.
Bot sees patients at Two Twelve Medical Center in Chaska and at Ridgeview Professional Building in Waconia.
