When you need intensive mental health care close to home, our outpatient programs are here. Our outpatient programs help adults stay out of the hospital and get the support they need to heal.
Our goal is to help you overcome obstacles that interfere with your daily life by providing assessment, treatment and structure to stabilize and improve your mental health.
Services
- Adult Day Treatment program: Offers a wide range of therapeutic and group activities that are tailored for you and the goals you wish to achieve.
- Partial Hospitalization program: Directed by a psychiatrist in a group therapy environment to help prevent and reduce hospitalizations and support you in your home environment.
- Psychiatry: Psychiatry services for medication management for adults and adolescents ages 12+ are available Monday through Friday.
- Psychology/therapy: Appointments for mental health therapy with a psychologist or licensed independent clinical social worker (LICSW) are available Monday through Friday.
Objectives
- Identify your primary behavioral, emotional and social needs and determine specific goals.
- Support your transition back into daily life after a higher level of care.
- Provide therapy, structure and support.
- Prevent hospitalizations by helping you stabilize your symptoms.
- Guide you in recognizing and understanding your feelings, needs and goals.
- Teach you new ways to deal with self-defeating or non-functional behaviors and thought processes.
Adult Day Treatment Program
- Helps you manage ongoing mental health concerns or if you are stepping down from partial hospitalization.
- Group-based therapy with sessions that include psychotherapy, education and activity groups.
- Family meetings are included.
Program schedule: On-site, three days a week for three hours a day — typically lasting three months.
Partial Hospitalization Program
- Provides the highest level of outpatient mental health and addiction care. Serves as an alternative to hospitalization or a step-down level of care after hospitalization.
- Group-based therapy with sessions that include psychotherapy, education and activity groups, as well as nursing support.
- Meet with a psychiatric provider twice a week for medication management, on-site and/or virtually.
Program schedule: On-site, five days a week
Hospital-Based Clinic
- Psychology and psychiatry visits to meet your needs.
- Outpatient care for mental health concerns such as anxiety, bipolar disorder, major depressive disorder, trauma and more.
- Designed to support your ongoing mental health while providing short-term, specialty care when needed. This helps you transition smoothly between levels of outpatient care.
- Works closely with your primary care provider and ensures you stay supported across care teams.
- Services include:
- Psychiatric medication management
- Long-acting medication injections
- Individual therapy
- A range of evidence-based therapy approaches
- Nursing support
Referral and Admission
You can be referred to the adult mental health outpatient programs by a psychiatrist, family practitioner, therapist, county agency, clergy, another hospital, a family member or by self-referral.

Reimbursement
Most health insurance plans provide reimbursement for outpatient mental health treatment. Our staff will confirm eligibility and coverage before the program is started.
