Volunteer opportunities

Volunteers for Ridgeview Medical Center are people of various ages and in different stages of their lives. All of our volunteers share one common value of service to others.  Some volunteers serve as part of their retirement activities, while others want to pursue a specific career or enhance their current employment.  Volunteers are an indispensable part of Ridgeview’s team.

To volunteer at Ridgeview you must be at least 14 years of age, successfully complete a state background study with fingerprinting and full immunization health requirement through our Employee Health Department.  We ask that you commit to 100 volunteer hours in a year. Volunteers are also required to complete annual education requirements each fall.

Ridgeview has a broad range of opportunities to accommodate the different life stages, interests and schedules of our volunteers.  Volunteers participate in over 30 different volunteer opportunities throughout Ridgeview, our affiliated clinics and the hospice program.  These opportunities are set up with designated days and times of up to 4 hours per shift.
