Achieving a Healthy BalanceOctober 3, 2015
Join us on Saturday, Oct. 3, for the 13th Annual Achieving a Healthy Balance event ... an inspirational day including intriguing speakers, fabulous food, a Minnesota artisan boutique and an abundance of fun. Registration begins at 8:45 a.m. and the program runs until 1:30 p.m.
Speakers for the event include the following:
Anne Voas, “Act Your Age!”
Do you need a wellness plan that fits who you are today? Some days it’s overwhelming to absorb the “must haves’” for good health. We will take a look at wellness priorities for different stages of life. And the challenges of getting it done well.
Kris James, “Culinary Herbalism for Everyday Well-Being”
Since the beginning of time, herbs have been used not only to add great flavor to our food, but to help support immune function, replenish energy and improve digestion. We will focus on everyday herbs and spices, discuss their healing properties and learn how to utilize them to make a positive impact on our daily health.
Deadra Stanton, “Fines Double in Construction Zones”
Be prepared to laugh as Deadra shows you how to grow personally and keep focused on our life journey. When we are traveling so fast and so furious, we sometimes limit our ability to navigate our path. After this presentation you will have strategies to help maintain your focus and make sure stay open to new ideas, a revitalized sense of self, and making the trip enjoyable.
