Physician Philanthropy Council
The Physician Philanthropy Council (PPC) is a dedicated group of Ridgeview Medical Center and affiliated physicians who serve as champions and role models to their peer physician groups and are essential in establishing philanthropy as a central principle of the Ridgeview mission. Physician Philanthropy Council members also work diligently to maximize the power of grateful patient philanthropy by guiding Ridgeview’s Grateful Patient Program.
All Ridgeview Medical Center and affiliated physicians are inspired to use their talents, time and treasure to give back.
To empower physician engagement in philanthropic programs that ensure the future health of the communities we serve.
Grateful Patient Program
At Ridgeview Medical Center, quality care and compassion go hand in hand. Our patients and families often express their gratitude for this excellent care in a variety of ways—through kind words, smiles, letters of thanks, volunteer efforts and financial support.
Ridgeview’s Grateful Patient Program allows you to ensure a legacy of health for future generations through gifts that honor the special people who have cared for you and your family. A gift in honor of a caregiver not only recognizes the exemplary work of Ridgeview’s physicians, nurses and other staff, but it helps enhance the outstanding level of care the community has come to expect from Ridgeview Medical Center.
Contributions help Ridgeview provide the highest-quality care in the region by attracting exceptional physicians, investing in state-of-the-art equipment, partnering with innovative businesses and so much more. When you contribute to Ridgeview Foundation and Ridgeview Medical Center, your gift will help us change lives!
Ways to Give
If you wish, Ridgeview Foundation will notify the physician, nurse or department that provided your exceptional care of your generous gift to the Grateful Patient Program. All gifts will be recognized and are tax deductible.
Ridgeview Medical Center has served the five-county service area of Carver, Sibley, southern Wright, western Hennepin and eastern McLeod since 1963. The hospital was established by physicians dedicated to the health of the whole community, a tradition that guides our trustees, administrators, caregivers, volunteers and staff members today.
For over half a century, we have grown with the community and accommodated new medical treatments. This flexibility and focus on local needs has enabled Ridgeview Medical Center to stay abreast of trends and provided the community with the highest-quality care in a patient-centered environment.
Physician giving is a vital piece in supporting this caring tradition and yet another profound way that you can advocate for your patients. We believe that having a diverse group of physicians dedicated to cultivating a culture of philanthropy is essential for advancing Ridgeview’s mission.
