Ridgeview Research partners with Prism Clinical Research
Waconia, Minn.—Feb. 11, 2013—Ridgeview Research is pleased to be partnering with Prism Clinical Research. The partnership allows Ridgeview Research to offer a broader variety of clinical research studies to metro-area residents.
“Prism Clinical Research is a recognized industry leader in early phase clinical research, and Ridgeview looks forward to partnering with Prism to expand the research opportunities in the greater southwest metro,” said Pat Michaelson, vice president of patient care and chief nursing officer, Ridgeview Medical Center.
In partnership with its local medical community and dedicated research staff, Ridgeview Research has been conducting clinical trials since 1993. Located in Two Twelve Medical Center in Chaska, Ridgeview Research is a division of Ridgeview Medical Center and has worked with 10,000 volunteers who have participated in more than 200 clinical trials. These studies are done to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of a product as well as to compare it to existing treatments. The goal is to find the best treatment for a condition with minimal side effects.
“Prism Clinical Research is very excited to be partnering with the Ridgeview Medical Center,” said Jeff Cosgrove, president, Prism Clinical Research. “To be able to work with an institution that has a strong, dedicated research team, a state-of-the-art facility in Chaska, and committed researchers in nearly every clinical specialty is a wonderful opportunity for not only Ridgeview and Prism but the patients that Ridgeview serves as well.”
