Ridgeview launches new initiative to raise money for area nonprofit organizations
Waconia, MN (Sept. 7, 2013) – In partnership with DoTopia, Ridgeview Medical Center has launched a new initiative to help community members improve their health and raise money for a nonprofit of their choice. Beginning Sept. 7, individuals who register with Ridgeview’s Family Health Manager online health and wellness tool can select one local nonprofit to which Ridgeview will direct $15 for each eligible Family Health Manager member.
“Our mission is to enhance the lifelong health of the people and communities we serve by nurturing the whole person—mind, body and spirit. An important part of nurturing that ‘spirit’ is through service and supporting those who truly make a difference in the lives of others in our communities,” said Robert Stevens, president and CEO, Ridgeview Medical Center. “We are pleased to provide this easy opportunity for people take an active role in improving their health while supporting nonprofit organizations in our five-county service area.”
“We are proud to partner with Ridgeview, which has a well-deserved national reputation for high quality and compassionate care. This initiative has great potential to expand support to local charitable organizations, thus furthering the higher purpose of a healthier quality of life for all,” said James Damian, CEO, DoTopia.
