Ridgeview Foundation Receives $300,000 Grant from Otto Bremer Trust

Ridgeview Foundation is pleased to announce a $300,000 matching funds grant from the Otto Bremer Trust to support the remodel and expansion of the Norman and Ann Hoffman Emergency Center on Ridgeview’s Waconia campus. The grant recognizes Ridgeview’s goal to improve the emergency health care experience by providing the latest advancements in life-saving care to meet the needs of the community.

“On behalf of the Ridgeview community, we thank the Otto Bremer Trust for supporting the expansion and renovation of the Norman and Ann Hoffman Emergency Center,” said Michael Phelps, president and CEO, Ridgeview Medical Center. “This investment will help us continue to respond to our growing communities and deliver excellent emergency care for years to come.”

The $18 million construction project, slated to be completed in 2020, is designed to enhance emergency services, improve overall patient experience and enable Ridgeview to stay on the forefront of technology. Key features include added patient privacy, improved trauma care, enhanced emergency behavioral health care, and updated technology for diagnosing and treating patients.

“Investing in communities is critical to the mission of the Otto Bremer Trust,” said Brian Lipschultz, co-CEO and trustee, OBT. “Meeting the evolving healthcare needs of a growing region is an important way we can help people and communities move forward.”

The matching funds grant stipulates that Ridgeview Foundation raise an additional $300,000 to secure the grant. Call (952) 442-6010 or visit ridgeviewfoundation.org to learn how you can help.
