Ridgeview welcomes Jennifer Coias, MD, to Dermatology practice

Jennifer Coias, MD, Dermatology, is now seeing patients for a wide range of dermatology services at Ridgeview Waconia Campus. Dr. Coias is a board-certified dermatologist and dermatopathologist with special medical interests in hair loss, skin cancer, pigmentary disorders and autoimmune conditions that cause blistering of the skin (immunobullous conditions). As a dermatopathologist, she is an expert in providing skin biopsy diagnoses through microscopic and molecular analysis — including examining tissue samples and skin biopsies to diagnose conditions like skin cancer, inflammation or infections.

Dr. Coias is passionate about bridging clinical dermatology and dermatopathology, integrating what is observed in the clinic with tissue analysis to better understand skin disease and help guide patient care. She diagnoses and manages complex dermatologic conditions, and treats conditions of the hair, skin and nails — including skin cancers, rashes, acne, rosacea and more.

Dr. Coias strives to truly understand what brings each patient in to see her, not just their skin condition but how it affects their life, confidence and overall well-being. She enjoys practicing dermatology because it provides the opportunity to treat a variety of conditions that deeply impact a person’s health and quality of life.
