Ridgeview welcomes Abigail Simek, DNP; now seeing patients in Gaylord and Winthrop

Abigail Simek, DNP, Family Medicine, joins Ridgeview Clinics in Gaylord and Winthrop as a nurse practitioner providing holistic, family-centered care to patients of all ages. She takes a collaborative approach to patient care, empowering individuals with evidence-based options for care and personalized treatment plans.

Abigail began her career as a registered nurse at M Health Fairview University Medical Center and Mayo Clinic Health Systems. She also has experience as a pediatric home care nurse. As Abigail cared for patients in these roles, her desire to serve as a primary care provider deepened.

She now works as a nurse practitioner in the rural communities of Gaylord and Winthrop where strong community connections are at the heart of care. Abigail strives to help patients feel confident and supported in every stage of life.
