Ridgeview Recognized by Minnesota Hospital Association (MHA) for Organizational Culture, Infrastructure and Commitment
Ridgeview was among 71 hospitals and health systems from across the state recognized by the Minnesota Hospital Association (MHA) last month for efforts to bolster the workforce, tell impactful health care stories, and improve quality and safety in Minnesota’s nonprofit hospitals and health systems.
Ridgeview was presented the award for Organizational Culture, Infrastructure and Commitment. This award was in recognition of two important initiatives at Ridgeview. The first, the opening of its Pediatric Limited-Stay Unit, which offers family-centered care close to home. “The team prioritized access to care for this growing patient population. Their dedication to continuous improvement, education, and relationship-building underscores Ridgeview’s unwavering commitment to high-quality pediatric care,” said Elaine Arion, DNP, MSN, RN, Vice President, Patient Care Services and Chief Nursing Officer, Ridgeview.
The second initiative is Ridgeview’s commitment to advancing the role of professional nurses. Arion explains, “This creates an environment where direct lines of communication exist, the contributions of the professional nurse are recognized and appreciated, and opportunities are provided for professional growth and development of skills.”
The awards were presented at MHA’s 2025 Spring Innovation Forum. Beth Kalb, MSN, RN, NE-BC, Director, Patient Care Services, accepted the award on behalf of Ridgeview. For more information on the MHA Awards, visit mnhospitals.org.
