Global agency accredits Ridgeview facilities for meeting or exceeding safety and quality benchmarks

Ridgeview is pleased to announce the successful completion of a quality-based accreditation from DNV (Det Norske Veritas).

This year’s accreditation process included reaccreditation of Ridgeview Waconia Campus as an Acute Care Hospital and reaccreditation of Ridgeview Arlington Campus as a Critical Access Hospital. Notably, this is the first year Ridgeview Le Sueur Campus was surveyed and achieved accreditation as a Critical Access Hospital.

By earning accreditation, Ridgeview has demonstrated it meets or exceeds patient safety standards set forth by the U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. DNV’s accreditation program is the only one to integrate the ISO 9001 Quality Management System with the Medicare Conditions of Participation.

This accreditation reflects Ridgeview’s continued commitment to consistency, quality improvement and patient safety.

DNV’s accreditation program, called NIAHO^® (Integrated Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations), involves annual hospital surveys and encourages hospitals to openly share information across departments and to discover improvements in clinical workflows and safety protocols.
