Ridgeview Names Matthew Herold, MD, as Chief Clinical Officer

Ridgeview has announced the promotion of Matthew Herold, MD, Chief Medical Officer, to Chief Clinical Officer (CCO) at Ridgeview. A board-certified practicing physician with Emergency Physicians & Consultants, P.A. (EMPAC) in Ridgeview’s Emergency Departments since 2005, Dr. Herold has served as Chief Medical Officer since 2023.

Nielsen to succeed retiring Mike Phelps

Valuing organizational stability and a deep commitment to maintaining Ridgeview’s independence and exceptional culture, the Ridgeview Medical Center Board of Directors announced today that Ben Nielsen has been selected as Ridgeview’s new President and CEO, replacing Mike Phelps who will retire on Jan. 2, 2027.

Jae Baek, MD, practices the full scope of obstetrics and gynecology, caring for patients from adolescence through menopause. Her special medical interests include low- and high-risk obstetrics, contraception counseling, abnormal uterine bleeding, abnormal Pap tests, and robotic and laparoscopic surgeries.
