Postsurgical Rehabilitation

The primary goal of our multidisciplinary team is to return a patient to a normal routine—be it regular activities of daily living, a return to work or competitive or recreational sports activities—following a surgical procedure.

At Ridgeview Rehab Specialties, you have the benefit of exposure to a variety of rehabilitation specialists according to your specific diagnosis and needs, including physical and occupational therapists and certified athletic trainers.

We are able to treat a wide range of orthopaedic postsurgical rehabilitation needs, with the most common diagnoses including ACL reconstruction, rotator cuff repair, total shoulder replacement, lumbar/cervical laminectomy/discectomy, spinal fusion, total knee and total hip replacements, and hand surgery. We will work closely with your surgeon to progress your rehabilitation appropriately and effectively.

We have developed several research-based protocols for certain postsurgical diagnoses which are used as a guideline around which a specific, personalized rehabilitation program is designed with each person’s specific goals as the basis for its development.

“Dr. Rotenberg and the Ridgeview physical therapy staff really went the extra mile to help me heal my arm. The words of encouragement along the way really helped me get back to my normal activities.”  –Shirley G., Mound
