Ridgeview's Cardiac Rehabilitation Program goal is to assist patients in improving their quality of life through better health education, counseling and exercise training.
National Certification
Our Cardiac Rehabilitation Phase II program has been awarded national certification by the American Association of Cardiovascular & Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR). The certification indicates that our program has undergone review and meets the essential requirements for standards of care.
Program Objectives:
- Increase patient cardiovascular exercise capacity
- Provide patient support and education on cardiovascular disease, risk factors, nutrition, stress, medications and more
- Assist the patient and family in dealing with the physical and emotional aspects of cardiovascular disease
- Provide personalized programs to assist cardiac patients in making important and appropriate lifestyle changes
Program Features:
- Education Sessions
Ridgeview offers weekly education and support sessions for our cardiology patients and family members.
- Exercise Sessions
Our cardiac rehabilitation exercise sessions are specifically designed for each patient and conducted at Ridgeview three days a week. The length of the program, based on reaching individual goals, will be determined by each participant and the cardiac care team.
Referrals
