The Ridgeview Volunteer Services staff works with departments throughout the organization to create and develop meaningful volunteer opportunities for the community. One of the many roles of Volunteer Services is to assist individuals in the process of becoming a volunteer. We will work with you to identify a position that best meets the type of volunteer experience you desire, and to ensure that you receive the appropriate training.

Volunteer Services also provides continued support to Ridgeview volunteers in answering questions, managing schedules and developing positions. And, if at any time a volunteer expresses interest in other volunteer opportunities at Ridgeview, the Volunteer Services Department will gladly share information or answer any questions they may have.

As a Ridgeview volunteer you will make a difference—in your life and in the life of someone you may or may not know. Our volunteers make this difference in giving of themselves and their time to help, comfort, serve and support others. In turn, they can receive a sense of personal satisfaction, develop a new skill, share a unique experience and establish new friendships.

All active Ridgeview volunteers also receive the monthly Volunteer Vitals newsletter and an invitation to attend various events and listen to speakers throughout the year. Each spring, Ridgeview holds a banquet in honor of volunteers to recognize and thank them for their dedication, service and generosity.
