Waconia, Minn.—Feb. 18, 2013—Join thousands across the nation as they show support for the young patients of Ridgeview Specialty Clinic–Pediatric Integrative Medicine.
Ridgeview Medical Center, together with HeartMath, is inviting people from around the nation to send a giant "Hearts for Healing" card with an inspirational message of hope and healing to Ridgeview's Pediatric Integrative Medicine patients. We would love for you to help us meet our goal of getting 5,000 people to sign the card. Here's all you have to do:
Step #1 - Click here https://www.thunderclap.it/projects/1232-hearts-for-healing to join this online campaign via a tool called "Thunderclap" by 8 p.m. Feb. 20. (Look for the red "Support with Facebook" and "Support with Twitter" buttons in the blue and gray box toward the top of the page.)
Step #2 - Make sure to sign the Hearts for Healing card—to be delivered to the clinic—at the link provided above. Your e-signature will brighten the lives of children who are faced with challenges such as autism, ADHD, depression, anxiety, sleep issues, learning disabilities and chronic illnesses.
To make this an even sweeter gift, HeartMath is donating 25 of its new Inner Balance App and Sensors to the Ridgeview Specialty Clinic–Pediatric Integrative Medicine for the young patients and their families. The Hearts for Healing card will accompany this donation! And, in appreciation for your participation, everyone who signs the Hearts for Healing card will get a chance to win the new Inner Balance App and Sensor. (What's the Inner Balance App and Sensor? Learn more when you go to the page link above.)
What is HeartMath?
HeartMath develops methods and technologies to help people self-regulate emotions and behaviors. Ridgeview Specialty Clinic–Pediatric Integrative Medicine uses HeartMath computer hardware and software to help patients and their families learn how to relax by monitoring their heart rate pattern.
What is Thunderclap?
When a person agrees to join the campaign (or, “join our Thunderclap”) through social media, the Thunderclap tool will save all Facebook “likes” and “shares,” for example, until a specific date, when the “Thunderclap” is released—such that, the message then goes viral on the one set day (rather than posting to one’s Facebook account as soon as he or she “likes” it, for example), drawing more attention to the campaign.
A big thanks to you all for helping us make this heart month memorable for these young patients.
