The ranking is based on 43 measures of medical quality and satisfaction, which are based on data from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS); MyHealthCompare.com consolidates the measures for each hospital, calculates a single “Overall Score” and generates a ranking.

With a MyHealthCompare.com score of 88.9 percent, Ridgeview is one of only eight Minnesota hospitals that provide above-average health care. The performance average for the 43 Minnesota hospitals included in the overall care analysis is 83.3 percent.

Ridgeview also scored above state and national averages in surgical improvement care, cardiac care, pneumonia care and patient satisfaction.
