Twenty-one Ridgeview and Ridgeview-associated physicians were recently named in Mpls. St. Paul magazine’s 2009 listing of Top Doctors! To earn this distinction, these physicians had to receive approximately 15 percent of the vote in their specialty area in a survey of 2,500 licensed doctors and 2,500 registered nurses in the 10-county metro area.

Mpls. St. Paul magazine has been surveying metro doctors since 1992 and has announced the Top Doctors listing for the past 13 years. Those polled were randomly selected from the State of Minnesota Mailing List Service; the specialty categories are certified by the American Board of Medical Specialties. The survey participants were asked, "When your loved ones get sick, to whom would you send them?"
