Health Information is Key
At the Health Information Library, we believe that by staying informed, you and your health care providers can work as partners in managing your health, and the health of your family.
Since 1996, our professionals have been providing free, confidential health information resources and services to patients, their families and the community. Whether you prefer to research health information on your own or are more comfortable with professional assistance, we’re here to help you find what you’re looking for.
Three easy ways to find what you need:
-
Call
We're good listeners. When you call us at (952) 442-2191, ext. 6100, one of our professionals will talk with you about your health information needs. Depending on your
request, we may recommend you come in for a free, confidential consultation.
-
Visit
We’re open 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. When you visit our library,
you're welcome to use our public computers or check out our health-related
books, journals, videos, pamphlets and brochures.
-
Online
Our site is fresh with new information about a variety of
health topics, community events and classes, daily health news and more. You may request health information while currently visiting our site by simply completing the Ask a Medical Librarian and submit it to us. We’ll mail you the requested information within three business days.
