New Birthing Center
An unmatched health care resource,
Ridgeview's Center for Women & Children features a new Birthing Center with six birthing suites that include full-sized bathtubs, so mothers can labor in water and have a water birth aided by certified nurse midwives; 18 private "spa-like" postpartum suites with hotel-like décor and amenities; and the latest technology in nurse call systems, fetal monitoring and infant security.

Neonatal Care Unit
Since fall 2009, neonatal nurse practitioners from Children’s Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota have been onsite at Ridgeview 24/7 to attend high-risk deliveries and care for babies along with neonatologists from Children’s, who make rounds daily at Ridgeview. In early 2010, Ridgeview opened an additional, specialized nursery, which is the first growth phase in a multiyear expansion plan for a Neonatal Care Unit.
