Ridgeview Medical Center has had so much to celebrate with the opening of its brand new Birthing Center!

First, the grand opening and ribbon cutting event on Thursday, June 25, had record-breaking attendance. More than 1,100 guests turned out for the two-hour event, which featured tours of the new Birthing Center, memory books for the first 100 guests, a grand-prize drawing and more. Kami Nelson, a St. Bonifacius resident, was the lucky grand-prize winner; she received a memory-making package that included a digital camera.

As of Wednesday, July 1, the Birthing Center is completely moved to the brand new expansion area on the 3rd Floor of the medical center. And in its brand new, state-of-the-art environment, Ridgeview's new Birthing Center had its very first delivery on Tuesday, June 30!

Massage therapy through Ridgeview Seasons Medical Spa is now available in the Birthing Center every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 1-6 p.m. for patients, employees and visitors of Ridgeview; feel free to make an appointment by calling (952) 442-3187. And don't forget to check out the new Ridgeview Lily Pad Boutique, located at the entrance of the Birthing Center!
