Ridgeview’s exciting growth over the next few years will help us better serve the health of our communities. Our enhanced services and facilities in cardiology, women and children’s care, residential hospice and communications are built on a strong foundation of quality, extraordinary service and compassion.

Current Foundation Initiatives

Marie Steiner Kelting Hospice Home
Ridgeview Medical Center is building a residential hospice facility on three acres of land gifted by the city of Chaska. It will provide a soothing, home-like setting for terminally ill patients in need of specialized end-of-life care, as well as for their families.

Center for Women & Children
To help meet Ridgeview's vision of providing comprehensive health services to women in all stages of their lives, we offer a new Birthing Center, future neonatal care unit, pediatric and young adult care, genetic counseling, a bladder and pelvic health program and more.

Ridgeview Heart Center
The new Minneapolis Heart Institute® at Ridgeview Heart Center opened in fall 2007 to complement and enhance our existing state-of-the-art Cardiac Care area.

Other Funding Priorities

Surgery
Each year, more than 7,000 inpatient and outpatient procedures are performed using state-of-the-art technology at Ridgeview's surgery centers in Waconia and Chaska.

Ambulance and Emergency Services
Ridgeview Ambulance Services continually faces the costs of servicing and replacing emergency equipment. Ridgeview Foundation is proud to help support this critical community service.

Ridgeview Cancer Care
Ridgeview's Cancer Care program provides information and emotional support to help patients maintain as normal a lifestyle as possible while undergoing oncology treatment services. The program also brings cancer screenings and awareness education to our communities.

Ridgeview Hospice
Donations in support of Ridgeview Hospice help families dealing with a terminal illness. Every year, more than 200 families make use of this essential program, which offers care in the six counties within a 40-mile radius of Waconia.

Center for Joint Replacement
Ridgeview patients recover from knee or hip surgery in a dedicated wing of the hosptial, using innovative group therapy. They also receive individualized service from a care coordinator who guides them through preparation, education, surgery and recovery.
